How do you collect all of the information about deadlines and requirements?

We use the Common App, the College Board, and each college's own admissions website to collect information. We have built code that automatically collects some data, and we double check and enhance the data manually.

Is all the information accurate?

We do our absolute best to ensure that all of the information is accurate and up-to-date, but there may be inaccuracies as deadlines and requirements can change. As with all websites that aggregate information, please double check all deadlines and requirements, and email info@makemeafreshman.com if you find a mistake.

Why don't I see the college for which I am searching?

Please note that we are focusing on four-year college in the United States, and for-profit colleges are not included. If there is a four-year college that you would like included, you can request a college by emailing info@makemeafreshman.com.

Is there a cost to use this website?

Make Me a Freshman is free for all students and counselors.

What is the Honors deadline that I am seeing for some colleges?

We have included an Honors deadline for colleges that have a deadline for being considered for the Honors program if and only if that deadline is before the regular deadline. We have also included links to the Honors colleges for all colleges that offer such programs.

Can I use the site as an international student?

While our requirements currently focus on domestic applicants, international students looking to apply to American colleges can use Make Me a Freshman as a guide. Note that some colleges have additional testing or application requirements, so please double check when applying.

What are the terms of use of this website?

By using this site, you are agreeing to our terms of use. The key part to understand is that we will not share any of your information without your permission (and even then, only to people/organizations like counselors, colleges, etc.). View our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

I registered, but my password isn't working. Why is that?

We reset our databases based on new deadlines for 2017-2018, so you will need to register again.
